Caputon Tape

Kapton tape is the transliteration of KAPTON tape, and its common industry name is polyimide tape. SINOATP Kapton tape uses polyimide film (PI film) as the base material, with a silicone adhesive system. The color appears golden yellow, brown, or amber depending on the thickness of the tape. It is categorized as a high-temperature adhesive tape for electronic and electrical products.

This product has a high insulation rating, is resistant to high and low temperatures, acids and alkalis, solvents, and radiation. It is commonly used for masking and protection of PCB gold fingers (also known as gold finger tape), insulation in high-end electrical appliances, and securing the positive and negative tabs of lithium batteries. It is easy to tear off, not prone to breaking, and leaves no residue after removal.
